Tech Challenge

The 3rd annual UMass Amherst Technology Challenge will be co-hosted by the Berthiaume Center for Entrepreneurship and the College of Engineering. The Tech Challenge is open to all UMass students and graduates of the last decade. Accepted Ventures will pitch their tech-based ideas in a closed-door competition to an expert panel of judges. 
Winners and prizes will be announced at the Innovation Challenge Academy Awards night on 11/14.

Qualifications and Requirements to Compete:

• To qualify for the Technology Challenge, applicants must have an idea for an innovative technology advancement or service, regardless of industry. 
• Prototypes and business models are welcomed and highly encouraged but not required to apply or compete in the Challenge.
• Presentation slides are required for participation in the pitch.
• Attend the Pitch Camp on October 26, 2023.
