About
Ahmed always had an interest in gaming at a young age and carried alongside it an entrepreneurial passion. He studied computer science at UMass Amherst alongside his older brother, Khalil, and started researching what it would take to create indie games for gaming consoles. After achieving his degree, he started the initial idea to create an indie game studio. While Decoy Games was in its beginnings, Ahmed worked as a solutions consultant full-time, where he picked up high level networking and sales skills which he leveraged along with his development skills to build Decoy Games from the ground up. In the studio's first release, Swimsanity!, Ahmed was responsible for UX design, animation, net code, and console deployment which ended up being the cornerstones for the game.
