Visiting CICS

Undergraduate Information Sessions 

The Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences offers on-campus and virtual information sessions for prospective undergraduate students. In-person sessions are held in the Lederle Graduate Research Center Lowrise, Room A114. 

Location and Directions

By car, UMass Amherst is approximately two hours from Boston and three hours from New York City. The closest airport is Bradley International (BDL) in Hartford, Conn. (45 minutes away). Directions to UMass Amherst.  

The regional Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) bus service maintains the Computer Science Building bus stop, view routes and schedules.

The Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences (CICS) is located in three buildings:

Parking 

Parking lot 31 is the closest to the Computer Science and Computer Science Laboratories buildings; parking meters are available in the front row. Parking lots 43 and 61 are the closest to the Lederle Graduate Research Center Lowrise.

If you are visiting as an invited CICS guest, your host can provide you with parking validation.
