Anita Gallers

Anita Gallers's career in education has spanned over 20 years, largely focusing on at-risk students.  For the last ten years, she worked as an Academic Advisor for the Gateway to College Program at Springfield Technical Community College.  She is a published poet and serves on the Editorial Board of the Florence Poets Society's annual poetry anthology, Silkworm.  She also enjoys studying and conversing in Yiddish.  She holds a PhD in Spanish and African American Studies from Yale University.
