Antara Parmar is a Career Developer with CICS Careers. She completed her undergraduate degree in Computer Science as part of the 4+1 program at UMass Amherst. She has gained industry experience through internships at Oracle, Liberty Mutual, and eClinicalWorks, where she worked on projects ranging from Slack bots and dashboards to search engine optimization. She is particularly interested in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and software development.
As a Career Developer, Antara aims to support students throughout their job and internship search by providing guidance on resume refinement, interview preparation, and networking strategies.
In her free time, Anara enjoys cooking and baking with friends, trying new workouts, and exploring new destinations. Her favorite local restaurant is Crazy Noodles in Downtown Amherst, and some of her favorite places to visit include Switzerland and Hawaii.
