About
George Bissias spent several years in Boston working at mobile advertising start-up Fiksu, followed by distributed database start-up Hadapt. He rejoined the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences at UMass Amherst in 2013. His ongoing research creates systems for secure, large-scale data processing and analysis. He also develops and analyzes cryptocurrency protocols such as Bitcoin.
