About
Julie Stubbs is the executive director of strategic partnerships for the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences, reporting to Dean Laura Haas. Stubbs works with the Dean and academic leadership on strategic planning and leadership of key initiatives to bring more resources to the college from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government stakeholders. She joined UMass Amherst in 2010 after development leadership roles at DeCordovaSculpture Park and Museum and the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, both in eastern Massachusetts. At UMass, she served as major gift officer in the College of Natural Sciences, supporting computer science and other departments; as director of development in the College of Education, where she led development efforts through the successful conclusion of the UMass Rising Campaign; and as director of development in Manning CICS, where she established a permanent development office in January 2016. Stubbs assumed the position of executive director of strategic partnerships in September 2019.
Stubbs earned a BA with honors in the College of Letters at Wesleyan University.
