Neeraj Suri received his PhD from UMass Amherst in 1992. He has held faculty positions at Boston University, the Saab Endowed Chair at Chalmers (Sweden), the TUD Chair in Dependable Systems & Software at TU Darmstadt (Germany), and currently holds the Distinguished University Professor and Chair in Cybersecurity at Lancaster University (U.K.), where he directs the university-wide Security Institute. He has held visiting positions at Microsoft Research, Academia Sinica-Taiwan, Technion-Israel and the University of Texas at Austin.

Suri has been awarded an NSF CAREER Award, a IBM Faculty Award, a Microsoft Fellowship, and a Microsoft Research Trustworthy Computing Advisory Board.

He also participates on the following editorial boards: ACM Computing Surveys, IEEE Trans on Dependable & Secure Computing, IEEE Trans. on Software Engineering, IEEE Trans. on Big Data, IEEE Trans. on Cloud Computing, IEEE Trans. on Parallel and Distributed Systems, IEEE Security & Privacy.
