Are you interested in knowing how humans perceive bias in Machine Learning (ML) and how that impacts their trust?

In this event hosted by the Responsible Technology Coalition (RTC), CICS graduate student Aimen Gaba will present the role natural language and visualization design play in shaping users' perceptions of bias in (ML) systems and impact their trust. Her research aims to identify opportunities and manifestations for biases in data-driven systems, to inspire actionable guidelines for designing more transparent and trustworthy visualizations for ML systems that empower users to make more informed data-driven decisions.

Join the RTC in person or virtually on Oct. 21 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. to hear more about this amazing work from Aimen. If interested, please fill out this form.

The RTC is an interdisciplinary organization of students who are committed to
seeing that technology is ethical and accountable. If you would like to learn
