The BS degree provides highly technical training in computing, math, and science. The BA degree balances broad computing knowledge with an outside concentration, and is particularly appropriate for students who are interested in combining computer science with another discipline as a double major.
BS in Computer Science course requirements:
- Seven core computer science courses
- Eight upper-level computer science electives
- Four math courses
- Two lab science courses

BA in Computer Science course requirements:
- Two introductory computer science courses
- Three core computer science courses
- Three mathematics courses
- Five upper-level computer science electives
- Four-course outside concentration

This course will introduce you to a variety of techniques to design algorithms, such as divide and conquer, greedy, dynamic programming, and network flow.
In this course, students gain practical experience with software engineering principles and techniques, centered on a semester-long team project in which a software development project is carried through all the stages of the software life cycle.
In this course, we will challenge you to broaden your grasp of what a user interface can and should be, and try your hand at doing better yourself.
